Biographical Data Born in Saint John, New Brunswick, Jonathan Kaplansky now lives in Montreal. He attended Tufts University (B.A., major: French; minor: drama), McGill University (M.A., French language and literature) and University of Ottawa (M.A., translation), and studied at Université de Paris III. His published translations include work by Hélène Dorion, Hélène Rioux and Serge Patrice Thibodeau. He also translated an extensive biography on filmmaker Frank Borzage.
