Dear LTAC members,

The LTAC Board hereby invites you to attend the Annual General Meeting on Saturday, August 26, 2017, from 10:30 a.m to 3:30 p.m. in room LB-619, Concordia University (1400, Blvd. de Maisonneuve West, Montreal). A light lunch will be served.

The agenda, the president’s, vice-presidents’ and admissions secretary’s reports, the 2016-2017 financial statements and the minutes of the 2016 AGM have been sent to members by email. Please let us know if you have not received these documents.

This year, almost all board positions are up for election: president; vice president for the Quebec, West and Atlantic regions; reporting secretary; admissions secretary and treasurer. If you wish to contribute actively to promoting and defending literary translation, now is the time to apply to join the board! Please write to info@attlc-ltac.org to express your interest in applying.

Associate and student members are welcome and may address the membership, but only full members in good standing are entitled to vote. If you haven’t yet renewed your LTAC membership, there is still time to do so before the AGM. The membership dues for 2017-2018 are as follows: $140 for full members, $70 for associate members, and $25 for student members.

The LTAC can reimburse part of travel expenses for full members outside of the greater Montreal area, upon presentation of receipts. Those who travel to the AGM by car can claim $.50/km (you will need to provide a gas receipt and a Google itinerary showing distance from Montreal). Please RSVP to info@attlc-ltac.org.

LTAC members who are unable to attend the AGM in person will be able to take part virtually. Please write to info@attlc-ltac.org if you wish to take advantage of that option and be informed on how to proceed.
