LTAC member Sheila Fischman was honored by being named to the 2017 International Dublin Literary Award longlist for The Orange Grove, her translation of L’orangeraie, alongside its author, Quebec’s Larry Tremblay.

There are 15 Canadian books among the 147 longlisted novels, including 43 novels in translation. The Orange Grove is the only translation from Canada on the list. The shortlist will be published in April 2017 and the winner will be announced in June. The €100,000 annual literary award is the richest prize for a single work of fiction published in English.
