Barbara Godard: Godard recently published Canadian Literature at the Crossroads of Language and Culture (NeWest 2008) which was launched at a Symposium on her work, Inspiring Collaborations (www.yorku.ca/godard/). Several of her essays on translation theory have recently appeared in Roumanian and Portuguese (Brasil) translation and her translation experiment and essay, “Translating Apollinaire after bp Nichol,” was published in One Poem in Search of a Translator: Re-writing ‘Les fenêtres’ by Apollinaire edited by Manuela Perteghella and Eugenia Loffredo (Peter Lang, 2008).
