Dr. Arianna Dagnino is specialized in translations of fiction and non-fiction books, essays and newspaper articles from English, French and Spanish into Italian. She holds a Master's Degree in Modern Languages and Literatures from the University of Genoa, Italy and a PhD in Comparative Literature and Sociology from the University of South Australia. She did a postdoc in Translation Studies at the University of Ottawa and currently teaches in the Italian Studies program at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver. She is the author of several books of fiction and non-fiction in English and Italian, including the post-apartheid novel "The Afrikaner" (Guernica, Toronto).
