You can read the introduction to the feature<strong> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wordswithoutborders.org\/article\/october-2017-quebec-the-vagaries-of-exile-migrant-literature-from-quebec\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">here<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Edited by Montreal-based writer, editor and translator Rachel Morgenstern-Clarren, the feature highlights contemporary\u00a0writers who were born outside\u00a0of Canada and who write in French, their second language, while engaging with the literary culture and history of Quebec. Several members of LTAC collaborated on the project.<\/p>\n<p>The feature includes excerpts of new work by Pan Bouyoucas (<em><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.wordswithoutborders.org\/article\/october-2017-quebec-cock-a-doodle-do-pan-bouyoucas-rachel-morgenstern\/src=featureintro\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Cock-a-doodle-do<\/a><\/strong><\/em>, translated by Rachel Morgenstern-Clarren and \u00c9ric Fontaine), Ying Chen (<em><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.wordswithoutborders.org\/article\/october-2017-quebec-wounds-ying-chen-pamela-casey?src=featureintro\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Wounds<\/a><\/strong><\/em>, translated by Pam Casey), Sergio Kokis (<em><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.wordswithoutborders.org\/article\/october-2017-quebec-incidents-at-the-evangelista-lighthouse-sergio-kokis?src=featureintro\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Incidents at the Evangelista Lighthouse<\/a><\/strong><\/em>, translated by Hugh Hazelton), and Kim Thuy (<em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.wordswithoutborders.org\/article\/october-2017-quebec-vi-kim-thuy-sheila-fischman?src=featureintro\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>VI<\/strong><\/a><\/em>, translated by Sheila Fischman).
