Winter Trad \/ Transe hivernale is right around the corner! As part of the Salon du livre de Montr\u00e9al programming<\/a>, the LTAC invites you to a friendly, festive, and generous literary event!<\/p>\n

  1. Readings by actors of excerpts from recent translations by our members (thanks to those who sent us their texts!)<\/li>\n
  2. A sale of your books to benefit the Fondation pour l\u2019alphab\u00e9tisation du Qu\u00e9bec! Bring the new books you want to donate – those you have translated, for example, but not necessarily. As part of the foundation’s The Gift of Reading<\/a> campaign, the proceeds from these sales will be donated to the Fondation pour l\u2019alphab\u00e9tisation<\/a>. MOREOVER, for every dollar raised, a group of publishers will donate a new children’s book to the Foundation. Your books will go far!\u00a0The holidays are quickly approaching… Here’s a great opportunity to give clear your bookshelf, find the perfect gift for your loved ones, and treat children who are in the midst of learning the great love of our lives: reading!\u00a0You can pay for your purchases in cash or through the Foundation’s platform. (Please bring only new books to be sold!)\u00a0You can’t make it on November 18?
