About / Bio

A native of Toronto now living in Victoria, Elaine Kennedy studied at York University (Honours B.A. in English Literature), the Sorbonne (Diplôme de langue et civilisation françaises) and the Université de Montréal (M.A. in Translation). A certified member of OTTIAQ, she has taught translation at Concordia University and worked as a translator in the academic, cultural and corporate sectors. Her translations of a literary nature include both fiction and non-fiction.
