About / Bio

Benoit Laflamme translates from English and Norwegian into French. Based in Ottawa, he has devoted his entire career to translation. His translation Éclipse électrique (2020) won the Cole Foundation Translation Prize, and his translation Dans la lugubre forêt nos corps seront suspendus (2022) was finalist for the Governor General's Literary Award. He is regional vice-president (Ontario) of the LTAC.
