Jennifer Dummer completed her two-week translation residency at the Maison de la littérature (ML) on March 15. This joint LTAC/ML program provided her with an apartment and a workspace in Quebec City. She was also able to work for five days with Michel Rochon, the author of the book she is translating from French to German, Le cerveau et la musique.
At the end-of-residency event held on March 14, the translator and author presented their joint work process and the lessons learned from their collaboration to students of literary translation at Université Laval.
